Hi, I’m Karen – a mum, a dreamer, and the heart behind My Little Mushroom.

This little store was born from love during my pregnancy with my son, Luca. While waiting to meet him, I didn’t know if I was having a boy or a girl, but I wanted to give my baby a sweet nickname. One day, after eating mushrooms (something I was oddly craving!), I smiled and called the baby in my belly “my little mushroom.” The name stuck – and so did the feeling.

As I prepared for his arrival, I searched everywhere for baby clothes that were neutral, soft, and personal. I couldn’t find what I had in mind – so I started creating it myself.

At My Little Mushroom, we offer hand-embroidered, personalised baby and toddler clothing made from breathable, soft cotton, specially chosen to care for delicate skin. Every single item in our store has been worn, and loved by my son Luca. If it isn’t soft enough, gentle enough, or special enough – it doesn’t make the cut.

Our collections are inspired by soft earthy tones, and the magic of creating memories in the little things – like a name stitched by hand, or a jumper passed down with love.
